Virginia > This street sign is near the Place Auguste Métivier bus stop.
Virginia > This side street, which parallels the Rue des Bluets, is the Passage de Ménilmontant. The first time I saw the rainbow painted on the building it blended with the sky, creating a stunning tromp l'oeil.
Virginia > Tuesdays and Fridays you will find a fresh produce market on the Ménilmontant mall . This is where we buy cheese, paté, milk, fresh fruits and vegetables, prepared quiches and other baked goods. There are also plants and cut flowers for sale at reasonable prices which are an inexpensive way to make the apartment your own.
Virginia > The poles that make up the framework for the market stalls are set up the day before and removed immediately after the market closes.
Virginia > Walking up the Rue des Bluets, you can gain access to the market by cutting between the parked trucks.
Virginia > Our favorite cheese purveyors give cheerful service, excellent advice and provide us with delicious cheeses to bring home with us to Boston.
Virginia > The produce looks so good it is hard not to buy some of everything.
Virginia > Fresh fish for sale.
Virginia > We don't buy bread here because we are faithful to our boulangerie. But the delicious variety is tempting, isn't it?
